Pharrell's Grammys Hat

A hat? Really? We get silly over the dumbest little things.

I'm all for wittiness and a clever comeback. But now, a famous person sneezes and we instantly get fifteen twitter feeds of @NancyPelosi'sSnotBubble.

Instantaneous blogging and social networking have turned us into a nationwide high school. Worldwide even, especially when you consider Africa as the poor kid we ignore and Asia as the smart kid we respect but also ultimately ignore. I'm gonna back out of this analogy before I have to start pointing out who the bully and the school tramp are.

I know the Internet is vast, but we can limit our textual diarrhea to matters of some importance can't--
